New spyware on iphone

Yesterday it came up two messages on my phone. The first one (in Swedish) said "remote monitoring enabled"

On the others I took a print screen on it said "Downloading Software ..." Both times it was possible to select "dismiss" as you can see the print screen.
What could this be?

Regards

No! Not me personally. I called the support in Sweden and they have no idea either and working on it

I can't find anything named "profile" after going into settings>general. I have an Iphone 4. Is it the "about" section I should look in?

"Profile" should be toward the bottom, if you have a profile installed. If it doesn't appear, then that's probably a good thing. Profiles can be used to change settings on your iPhone -- not sure if it would have anything to do with your problem, but it's a shot in the dark...

What applications have you installed on your phone?
Any new ones that might do that?

I have no clue how many apps have localized versions in Swedish available, but if there are only a few apps that do, I'd look at those first. Any new ones?

What were you doing when you got those messages? Any chance using Safari to browse the web? Or using some other program?

It would be worthwhile to have a look at the iPhone's logs... that can be done via iTunes. If you remember what time you got the message (see when you took the screenshot if you forgot), there hopefully is something about what was happening then.

@ElDiabloConCaca - It doesn't appear so it's probally not that thing. Thanks anyway

@Giaguara - Yes. I have a new one from Norway. "Yr.no". Do you think it could be it? And where in iTunes do I find the iPhone's logs and what should i look for more exactly!

The logs should be somewhere visible when connected to the iTunes of a Mac (or PC) the phone is synced with. (I can't check that more in detail now, since my phone is synced with the Mr's Mac, not mine.)

It could be the new software.

If you uninstall that app removing it from the iPhone, and then keep using the iPhone for a day or so, you can see whether more warnings like above would occur. If not, it was something from that phone.
And if it isn't, or you want to add that phone back to the phone, you can redownload it from the 'purchased' list in iTunes as you already have a license for it. (And there are plenty of other apps that can accurately get the same weather reports too)
