New York to London from Google

Google DOES have a sense of humor:

Take 60 seconds to do this.
1. Go to www.google.com

2. Click on "maps"

3. Click on "Get Directions"

4. Type New York, NY in the first box (the "From" box)

5. Type London in the second box (the "To" box)

6. Click "Get Directions"

7. Scroll down to Step #23

They missed out a step: "Grease yourself down with lard in order to deal with the cold." A bit irresponsible, if you ask me. People will catch pneumonia!

Wait..... after step 23 you end up in France! Then in step 40 you drive over the English channel! Gotta love google.

Then in step 40 you drive over the English channel!
...bypassing the Channel Tunnel (although I guess that would be driving under the English Channel)!

Well, let's not opt for the easy route at the last minute. If you're going to swim the Atlantic, you might as well do the Channel as well...

hey bbloke,
Try New York City to northern New Jersey (Paramass or Hoboken for example). In this cas it is best to get the wrong directions. Screw #23. Trust me.

It all seems reasonable to me. Personally, if I wanted to get to London from NY I would look up an Internet site selling air tix. However ......
