I’m a freelance blog designer. Do all sorts of cool stuff. Just did a really neat site for my buddy’s plumbing repair business in Newark, Delaware. I think it’s a pretty cool design but check it out for yourself:

Quick question: what use would a plumber have with a blog?

No offense, but it looks like the plumber needs a website, or is trying to use a blog as an outward-facing website. Or perhaps the designer doesn't know how to produce a full website and only has experience with setting up template-driven blogs.

Either way, it's a decent, mediocre design, at best. I'd probably be nicer about it if it wasn't blatant, off-topic, unwelcome spam.

I hope your buddy didn't pay you anything for that.
I actually live within 25 miles of that plumber, and might be interested in the service (But...)
The web site doesn't help that interest at all.
So, not only spam, but not something to help an actual business, IMOH.
Spam for the free-lancer, eh?
