Next step for the user interface?

Yeah; my Toshiba Satellite, quite old now, 400MHz or some such, has that larger-than-native res thing; you just move the cursor to the border of the screen and it scrolls across. It's actually much less useful as you might think. Although, it doesn't have a thumbnail image like the navigator in Photoshop, which would be really really useful. The image could just sit in the dock next to the Trash.

I'd like that.


But the idea for the finder shortcut menu is outstanding. Maybe if when you clicked on it, the dock adds another 'level' above it, revealing shortcuts, similar to the Quick-Launch bar in Windows, and when you click the link, the new levell moves back away, leaving only the normal dock.

If Panther had THAT, I'd give up the PC forever, and maybe actually buy Photoshop 7 again :|.
