The title pretty much says it all. I’m buying a NAS and I assume will mount it via NFS but perhaps SMB. In either case, I want to have a huge cache on the laptop — like 2TB which may involve getting another proxy file system to do the caching. But all this comes down to finding what NFS (or SMB) configuration parameters macOS offers. And thus the more general question of where to go to find out such things.
