I have a Mitsumi floppy and a 250M ZIP, both USB connect on an B&W G3. The ZIP is fine, the floppy is not always recognized, and must be in connector 1 to be seen.
Hey I do love my floopy...I have a Digital Cam that uses floopies what would i do without it?
When I bought the PB500 I ordered the external USB floopy drive. however the first and only time I have had a crash on OSX (kernel panic) was using it
Other than that I do love it and I will keep on using it
Digital file storage is the future for cameras. Then pictures are transfered over firewire or usb... Floppy Disk cameras probably won't last too much longer, hopefully.
One consolation, by this time next year, new PeeCee's will also no longer support internal floppies, if what I read about their upcoming chipsets is true. that would leave external USB drives with a pretty good business Just a quick question, does your floppy show in Apple System Profiler at all?
