Noise line on iMac screen

Hi

I have just bought a new iMac and now want to sell my 24" iMac '07. It does have a slight issue with a horizontal thin "noise" line that comes on the screen sometimes. I heard this is just because the Mac needs a good cleaning through the vents on the bottom.

Is this true?

Yes it should be cleaned out. Consult this take apart to open it up and clean some parts with compressed air. Aslo have you tried a Reset Pram to see if that helps the display?
