not access cd-rom media installer

stop in charge only show de apple image.
i push c key, to access cd-rom media installer, but doesn't do anything


anybody known how this situation be resolve?

For install I use Mac OS X Panther cd-rom num.1 & Tiger dvd-rom installer

What exactly are the CDs/DVDs you're using to try and boot from? Did they come with the iBook? Are they a retail set? Are they grey CDs from another kind of Macintosh?

Have you tried holding down the 'option' key so that you're presented with a menu of bootable volumes instead of holding down the 'c' key?

Reading a few, in apple support say:

"if you press Alt key after listen sound boot machine, show menu choose boot options....."


this is my solution and run it!

Yep, "Alt" key == "Option" key.
