Hi, I have Parallels installed and I have ie6 installed under XP. I really need to be able to preview websites in ie7 as well, preferably at the same time, but understand if you can't. any ideas of the procedure for this? tia

Why not make two virtual machines: one that has IE6 and the other with IE7?

The same way you made the first virtual machine, make another and go through the motions all over again.

Do a google search for the following:

"multiple IE's". You be able to download an installer that has IE version 5.x - 6 recompiled as standalone apps. I'd 'upgrade' my browser to 7 in XP, then download and install the standalone installer. I currently have 5, 5.5, 6, and 7 all running on the same virtual machine... no need for multiple virtual machines.

I can vouch for that solution, too -- as we did the same thing here at my work in order to test site compatibility across multiple versions of IE.

I would probably go with overkill solutions for it... thinapp IE. So you could run it as standalone with the same system you have IE 6 with...

jonpb: your solution is better. However, mine works with programs (other than IE) that do not
support several versions on the same time.
