organizing voice footage

I have an audio cd and i want to cut some voice footage from the fist track and make it into an mp3. Does OSX 10.6.8 have such an app to do so?
 
iTunes will do that.



1) You will need to import the track from the cd to iTunes. Next---
2) Highlight the track, right click, scroll to get info,click the options tab, select where you want to start and end the track, click ok.
