I have a G4 iBook which I recently upgraded from 10.3x to 10.5x, knowing full well that I wouldn't be able to run Classic with the new operating system. I upgraded all of my old OS 9.x software, with the exception of my Palm software. I have an old Palm device on which I've stored all of my professional contacts. I have tried to upgrade the software and access my old Palm files, and have even been on the phone several times for an hour or longer with Palm Mac technicians, to no avail. So, I was wondering if there's any way I could boot up my Mac using an OS 9 startup disk, access the Palm files from my back up Firewire drive and print out the data? Trouble is, I don't have an OS 9.x startup disk. So here are my questions:
1. Would this work?
2. If yes, where can I download an OS 9.x startup disk
3. If no, what are my options?
I'd appreciate any suggestions.
