OS X problem

I have just installed Tiger 10.4 on my Powerbook G4. The dialogue box said that it installed successfully. I riginally had 10.3 on my computer.

After the install, the prompts were to reboot my computer. I did, but now another semi-transparent box comes up after re-booting and says that I need to re-boot again.

Any suggestions?

You are having a Kernel Panic. Put you OS X install disk in and boot with it again but this time do an Archive & Install to install a fresh root system, not just upgrading the files like a regular install. Don't worry your Applications & personnel data will not be touched.

IMHO the Archive & Install is WAY BETTER than a regular upgrade any day.
