OS X's Automiatic Clock [time.apple.com]

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone else's clock is wrong?

For some reason my clock is wrong, and it's set to automatic, and I have the right time zone in effect.

Maybe Apple's server is a little off this weekend?

Mine is dead on. Are you using the U.S. server or the European server. Both are based on the same Universal Time Coordinate a.k.a. Greenwich Mean Time so you can use either one. At the moment I have mine set to use the European server to test something I read the other day, but switching to the U.S. server seems to make no difference. I haven't tried the Asian server. Time delay probably makes the nearest server a bit more accurate, but I am seldom concerned about time differences of a second or less.

I'm using the US server. It's funny, cause I've never ever had this issue before.
I set it to manual time for now, but this is really boggling my mind here...

Try the European server and see if that makes any difference. It can't hurt anything. I tried it because of another post that Apple seemed to be having problems with the U.S. server.

Hmm.
Tried that, no difference.

But, I think I may have noticed what's going on here. When I go into the "Time Zone" tab, it shows the wrong city every single time. Why? I'm not sure. Sometimes it shows Sudan, Africa time, and sometimes Russian time.
The weird thing is, even if I do set it to Toronto (my zone) it still does not display the correct time.
Hmmm....

EDIT: Discovered the problem!

Even If I was to change the time zone, the little area where it says "Time Zone: EST" did not change to reflect the proper time zone. So I have it on Panama time, because that seems to be the only one that will "switch" my Mac to EST.

I guess I can live with that.

Shadowtech: It looks like you need to just click on the lock in the left bottom corner to change the city.

Thanks, but I actually locked it to prevent it from changing back to the oddly-wrong time zone by mistake.
