osx 10.0 problems

ok, i was able to install 10.0 on my 4gb ata drive but i now have another problem. I got to the welcome/ registration thing. THe problem is that when i says to select a country, no countries are listed, weather or not i select show all. I can press continue thoug. When i press it, it gives th ethe beach ball on a blue background but goes back to welcome. Whats wrong??

A big part of the problem is that you are installing OS X 10.0 which according to Steve Jobs was "for early adopters only" and has lots of bugs, more problems, and very little hardware compatibility. Another possible part of the problem is whether or not you have all the firmware updates installed on your beige G3. You can find a list of the firmware upgrades on the Apple download page.
 
Yep -- I would try and get a hold of a copy of 10.1, or get a copy of 10.3 and use XPostFacto to install it.

As far as I know, and through searching extensively on Apple's site, there are no firmware upgrades for beige G3s. There are firmware updates for SCSI cards and other peripherals that are compatible and shipped with the beige G3s, but no actual firmware specifically for a beige G3.
