I have a Mac osX. When I am using Outlook Express, how can I get it to read Japanese characters? Can I also send email with Japanese characters?Thanks.

Outlook Express was discontinued and never upgraded for use in OS X. You are running it in Classic mode.

For full functionality (and particularly Unicode/Foreign Language Support), you should consider migrating to an OS X Mail program such as the included "Mail", or "Entourage" which comes as a part of Microsoft Office.

To follow-up on texanpenguin's post, Mail can import all of your messages from Outlook Express.
