DeltaMac Tech Mar 17, 2005 #2 Normally 2 disks (1 has the main install, 2 has majority of apps and printer drivers, etc.) But a custom install could ask for all 3.

DeltaMac Tech Mar 17, 2005 #4 Yes, most new Macs come with a install/restore DVD (one DVD), and maybe one or two other disks. The commercial OS X install set is 3 CDs, and a 4th disk for developer tools.
