Password Protected .dmg Files

I downloaded a .dmg file and whenever I try to mount it it asks for a password, yet I don't have one nor know where the password is. Is there a way to mount it without the password or is there a program that can remove the password somehow? Thanks in advance.

Ah, Nope. That's kinda the whole point. If the image is password protected (and in this case encrypted), if you don't know the password, you're not supposed to be able to access the file.

Always worth trying "password" as the password, in the past i've found that worked a lot more times than you might think.

Tried that. Anyway, after some hour or so searching far and wide turns out I managed to figure out the password by complete luck: yogurt. Strange.
