OK, so I'm on my 2nd PCI USB 2.0 card. Here's what happens:
1. When my G4 goes into deep sleep with a CFlash card in a reader attached to the PCI card, it takes forever to wake up with an alert that the device wasn't properly ejected.
2. With the CF card removed and the reader still plugged into the PCI, it won't wake up at all.
3. With the reader unplugged and the PCI card still installed, all is normal.
Short of crawling under the desk to plug and unplug the reader and any other peripherals running from the PCI card, is there anything I can do. Yeah, I know - never put the Mac to sleep. Paying enough for power as it is and don't want to fry the hard drive.
Running 10.3.4 on a SP 867
Any ideas?
