pgp mail

It seems you can contact someone at PGP via their support channels, and they should be able to provide you with a script you can run to completely uninstall PGP.

This from the user manual (pdf):

'In PGP Desktop, from the PGP menu, select Uninstall. A confirmation
dialog box is displayed. '

Why couldn't PGP 'support' simply post that information? pretty sure I know the answer to that.... whatever the reason, it's poor style IMO.
 
Did you ever contact PGP support about this? I hear that there are other steps that need to be taken to remove PGP? Supposedly, once uninstalled, there is potential that you will not be able to access your hard drive if you do not take some addition steps?

I do not know exactly what those "other" steps are - could be completely false? Did you successfully uninstall PGP?
