Pioneer Dvd Burner

I recently installed a pioneer DVR 105 in my G4- BUT it will not burn dvd's under OSX - yet it is compatible , and burns cd's fine . Could anyone tell me how to fix this please.. do i need to download a firmware update maybe .thanks
 
There's many thread about this issue, try searching at this site for Pioneer DVD, and you will see plenty of issues (some are resolved) You may find info about a firmware update, and other answers as well. One possibility is to make sure that the DVD ROM is jumper-set to Master. But check out the various threads. :)
 
What are you using to burn? Different methods are via iDVD, DVD Studio Pro, Toast Titanium, and Disc Burner.
 
I just installed Pioneer DVR105 and am getting absolutely great results with it. Burns everything I throw at it!
