Ok, here is the problem:
The audio is about .6 seconds ahead of the video. It is very noticible when watching dvds, and characters mouths do not line up with the words they are saying.
I paid 2000 dollars for my mac laptop (because macs are the best, i know), and it breaks my heart to have it all f-cked up like this.
This audio problem isnt just unique to dvd player, but its the same for quicktime, ect.
When I first got the powerbook, It would do an odd thing with the sound every once in a while, the sound would start to loop over and over in an infinite loop for five seconds or so, then return to normal. this happened once or twice a day.
Now... all of a sudden its doing this.
Can someone tell me what the cause might be, and (please god), what a possible solution might be?
I am a film student, and believe it or not, really need to be able to watch video properly on my mac. this is a big deal for me, as now i basically cant propperly edit video on my mac.
