Podcast iTunes cleanups

Is there a way in iTunes for me to just delete the podcast from my computer but still have the title of that episode still show for future downloads? Everytime I remove the podcast episode it wipes out the title from the collapsable title of that series. Even refreshes of the series does not bring back deleted episodes.

I accomplish this (in iTunes 7 in Tiger) in iTunes' preferences under Podcast. The pull down under" Keep" is set to "Most recent episode". Does this not work for you?
