Pop go the speakers.

The 'new e-mail sound' in Mail is suddenly making my internal speakers pop. No other sound does. Any ideas?

Volume too loud? The internal speakers are pretty low-powered and don't have great response, nor were they meant to handle very loud sounds. What kind of Macintosh are you using?
