Porting UNIX screensaver to Mac OS X?

Is there an easy way to port these screensavers (http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/) to Mac OS X? When I had LinuxPPC 2000 installed on my HD, IFS (Iterated Function System) was a REALLY good one, drawing swirling 3D fractals in real time. It would be nice to get these ported to Mac OS X. IFS would also make a nice iTunes visual plugin too. You would have to see IFS to know what I'm talking about. It is the best screensaver I've seen. Would be nicer if it was OpenGL.

Welll... to hold you over, if you have XDarwin, you might just be able to compile it as is or without too many changes.

I don't know, though. Shouldn't this be in the Porting section?

XScreenSaver has officially been ported to OS X 10.4, for those interested in this wicked screensaver for X.
