Possibility a new iPhone this year?

Does anyone predict a new iPhone coming out in 2010?

I am asking because my contract renewal date is not far away and rather than carry on, I think I would prefer a new iPhone and a new price plan from another operator in the UK... Sorry O2!

You may remember that the iPhone put the release of Mac OS X 10.5 on hold back in 2007. I think that the new iPad is going to be putting the next iPhone on hold in the same way. What do you all think?
 
I disagree...
Technology continues to forge ahead.
New iPhone about the time that new iPods are released. August or September is pretty normal for those.
The new models will require a doctor's assistance, because of the need to embed the new device in your temple.... Eh? Eh? (That last part is just a guess... :D )

(Only Apple knows when models are updated)
 
I predict no new iPhone this year.

However, I will say that if you do one thing or another based upon advice given here, then you're no better off than flipping a coin. As a user of Apple gear, you know that Apple and only Apple knows when they're releasing a new something, and anyone that claims to know is lying (no two ways about it). Even Apple employees themselves are "lied" to such that it's not easy for them to disseminate information about current/future products.

Remember "Asteroid?" Nice audio breakout box we got there, right?
