Printer hangup

Any print jobs I send to any printer results in the printer getting stuck with the print utility message "Printing Page 1, 10% complete" It stays there forever. If I delete the job and start another job or use another printer I get the same hangup. I restarted the computer and the printers. This setup worked fine ever since the printers were oriningally installed a few weeks ago.
os 10.48
Brothers 5250DN printer. ethernet
Epson 740 printer. ethernet through print server.

Any ideas?
 
Try this. Go to your Home folder (/Your Hard Drive/Users/Your User Name/Library/Preferences/) and delete these files: com.apple.print.custompresets.plist
com.apple.print.favorites.plist
com.apple.print.PrintCenter.plist
com.apple.print.PrinterProxy.plist
com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist

You should also delete the printer in Printer Setup Utility, then re-add it. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
