printing options problem

Hey,

I have one g4 which I had to reinstall os x (latest version) and another g4 (latest osx version as well) which has a printer installed - running on a usb port.


While trying to print from the g4 which I reinstalled os x, I no longer have as many print options (when you click on 'print', there are different print options like 'copies&pages', 'layout', etc.)

Funny thing is, after the reinstall, I had these additional print options for about a week and now all of a sudden I don't.

The additional options are vital to my work (in case ur wondering my im a fanatic about the additional print options).

Any information/help would be really appreciated.

The Epson Photo 1270 is native to the standard OS X install, so downloading the Epson OS X driver, probably would accomplish nothing. Print Center Repair should get you going again, can be downloaded from versiontracker.com

Have you tried deleting the printer from Print Center, and then re-adding it? That sometimes is all that's needed. Also, if you have not repaired permissions since the reinstall of OS X, that's worth trying. Do that through Disk Utility / First Aid tab. If neither of those help, then try the Print Center Repair as I mentioned at first. (it does these same things, plus other internal printing software checks, specific for various printing problems.
