Printing With An Hp Laserjet 1200

I completed a maintenance repair on an iMac running 10.2.8 using Tech Tool. After that the printer, Laserjet 1200, would not print. The printing window just says "Finally sending print file" but it never prints. I tried to delete all HP components installed (HP Laserjet folder on HD and in the Printer folder in Library) and then reinstalled a download from the HP site but it still does the same thing. The printer is recognized by the computer and is set as the default printer. Got any ideas as to what is going wrong? Thanks for any help....bluegator
