Problem adding HP Designjet 130 to Leopard

Hello there

I am new to the MAC world, therefore excuse me if this is a dumb question.

I installed the driver from both the CD that came with the printer and from a downloaded driver from HP support website. However, no matter what I do, when I add the printer and click "Select printer" to pick up the driver, Designjet 130 is not there :(

Will you please help me ?

Just a guess julio----did you do a hd restart after installation? Might cure the problem.

Make sure OS x actually sees the physical printer (you might have a bad cable, ever think of that). Just hold down the "option" key when clicking on the top left hand Apple symbol and select System Profiler. There see if OS X sees the drive.

Plus there is a excellent shareware (that has a 7 day trial period) called Print Therapy (for Leopard) or Print Setup Repair (for Tiger) that can fix almost any printing system on a Mac.
