Problem With Pkg And Mpkg Files

If I remember correctly, Lime Wire uses Java... are you up-to-date with all the current updates from Apple (Java included) -- i.e., have you run Software Update until no more updates show?
 
lol i do that every day im pretty sure i need to buy the leopard because there hasnt been an update since it came out pretty much.... i ran java and its up to date..... plz more ideas cause the only thing that i can think of myself is that i some how deleted a dmg- pkg-mpkg/diskimagemounter file and now i cant download those types of files cause every other types of files seem to download just fine.....
 
anyone got any ideas, ive read so many blogs and stuff and not a single person that has this problem can fix it....... plz help...
 
Info from maosxhints resolved my inability to open mpkg files. Yay user "Las_Vegas"
The Installer.app is located in /System/Library/CoreServices

I launched this and chose to open the offending mpkg file. ta da!
