When I try to download photos from my compact disk via a Lexar firewire reader, the transfer stalls after transferring 5 to 7 files. I have to restart to cancel it. This is after a clean install of OS 10.2.8. It is not the reader since it works with my laptop with no problem.
I now have to burn the files to a dvd via the laptop and then transfer them to the beige G3 using the LaCie firewire dvd burner.
I am running 10.2.8 on a G3 minitower with a Sonnet G4 400 upgrade card, a Sonnet Tango firewire/usb card installed, an Adaptec scsi card. I've installed the Sonnet Cache upgrader to properly report the Cache info.
