Quark 4.0 how to add a table from word?

how can I add a table in a Quark 4.0 document from word ?

i dont know of a way off hand, but i can say that quark is horrid in trying to make tables, not really possible actually

i say get indesign if you can afford it

There are several Xtensions for Quark that add table functionality. Check out Quarks site. They have a good list of third party XTs.

QuarkXPress 5's table function is uesless. It's quicker to use tab delineated text in a textbox.

Actually the tables are quite helpful. I used them for an entire catalog (200 pages) one per page.
