Question with Authenticate Password

Alright, right now I'm trying to upload a large number of programs onto my mother's computer. The process itself isn't that bad but what is really annoying me is the fact that I have to keep typing in her password through the authenticate, everytime I want to try and install something (its kind of a weird password and frustrating to keep having to type in). While I can understand why this is in place, on my computer at home I was able to change the settings somehow so that it didn't ask for the authenticate everytime you install a program. Honestly thoguh, for the life of me I can't rember how to do it.....help anyone?
 
How about you change your mother's password to something simpler and just change it back after installation?
To permanently negate the authentication seems ott.

Yea that's what I actually ended up doing, but now this is just going to bother me, becasue I can remember being annoyed with this same problem and using a tutorial that explained how to change the settings, I just can't find it now....
