Is there anyone who could give me feedback about how to successfully install and use the Quickcam Pro 4000 from Logitech?

I've tried all kinds of things and so far to no avail.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

I have Mac OS X 10.2.6.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, that's what of the many things of attempted to no avail. Thanks for your suggestion, though.

Normally the cams work directly, wihtout looking for drivers or progrmas specificly. Does the cam's package ay it's for Mac? (and rather, OS X specified)

I'd ask Logitch's feedback and wait for their instuctions. The normal case for mac peripherals: plug and use. (not plug and pray).

I have a QuickCam 4000 too.

Since few weeks ago I've used ioxperts driver (www.ioxperts.com) in order to make my webcam work, but now that Logitech has released os x driver, I use these.

It works greatly.

How DID you get that to work? Since Im on 10.2.6, my own image shows, but it doesn't seem make connection to any of my listings. Yes, its internet connected, yes, its DSL, so I don't know what other solution to go by. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Sorry don't know ...

I have OS X 10.2.6 and the driver works since 10.2.0 ...

I had IOXperts driver and when Logitech released OS X version of his driver, i've installed it.

I had only to installed it as written on txts.

Seems that there's no diferrence between the two drivers.

What do you mean by listings;

but it doesn't seem make connection to any of my listings

Connection through a webcam software program isn't working?

If you can see your own image, then the webcam is working okay.

If the problem is with connecting for video conferencing, what program are you using? Are you behind a Router or Firewall?
