Quicktime 6.4

I just downloaded Quicktime 6.4. My Flash Player did not work after my download, so I downloaded Flash Player 7 OSX. Now I am getting an ERROR -50 for the plugin. HELP! Nothing that requires a flash plugin will work. I have OSX 10.2.6.

I didn't verify if it's needed, but I'd also update to 10.2.8 (now that it's safe). I'd also try to remove the Flash plugin, reinstall QT6.4 and then reinstall the Flash plugin.

Hmmmm... did you reinstall Quicktime 6.4? Maybe something went wrong during the installation

I download the update from Apple's website. I also have Quicktime pro...don't know if that has anything to do with it (I really don't think so.) It worked fine before the update.

I try & see if this works. I heard that 10.2.8 was not working correctly.
I also have quicktime pro....but I don't think that matters!

10.2.8 had some problems when it first came out with a limited number of machines, but everything's cool now. 10.2.8 was one of the most stable releases of OS X I have ever used. Perfectly safe to update to it now.

Try this: Make sure you don't have any browsers open.
Delete this file: user/Library/Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist
Also delete the FlashPlayer folder in the Macromedia folder (you're still in the preferences folder)
Something simple like this may get the flash stuff to work again.
