I have a Canon LIDE scanner, which I purchased a little more than a year ago.
Color images from documents that I have scanned show a pink smudge (about an inch wide) running from top to bottom on the left side.
An Epson scanner that I had a few years back had the same problem.
Can anyone guess what might be causing this problem?
