Registered Owner name...

OK. I lost my Office 98 CD, so I just burnt the Program and it's folders off my dad's TiBook (Legal, because I owned the software ;)), but everytime I do anything, it calls me Iain Freeman, and it says it's registered to him. I have Office v.X for when I'm in X, but sometimes I have to boot into 9 because Cubasis won't run under Classic. Anyone know how to fix this name?
 
Well, you copied Office 98 after it has already been registered on the other system. Might be a way to hack into Office program files and change or delete owner info. Doesn't it work at all? If it works and just has a different registration name, Then go into preferences, User Info, and change the user name to whatever you like. At least your documents will have your name. Sorry, not technically a legal copy. Just because you've purchased software, doesn't imply that you can copy someone else's after you lost your copy(sounds like a 2nd generation copy already, Sounds like you don't know who the owner is???)
