Rejuvenating my SSD

I've read somewhere that SSD drives slow down after a while and they need to be rejuvenated. I can't seem to find the article anymore though.

First of all, I feel I need to ask whether that's true. Second, if it is true, what is a good piece of software that rejuvenates my drive?

Most of this procedure is taken care of automatically by the SSD itself.

Using a utility to reorganize the bits on the SSD will only add more wear-and-tear to the SSD drive (since they have a finite number of read/write cycles before they go bad) without providing much benefit. Specifically, you should never "optimize" or "defrag" an SSD because the idea of contiguous blocks is a non-issue with SSD drives as opposed to magnetic platter drives.

Are you experiencing noticeable slowdown that you can directly attribute to the SSD drive?
