Hi
how is possible remain connected to interner (ethernet, G5, Tiger) wihou reply to the boring message "you want to saty connected?"

In the Network PreferencePane>Show Internal Modem
Click on PPP, then PPP Options at bottom. You'll see the settings.
 
the message arrived after 15 minute of surfing.
I don't think is due to ISp provider: he is teh same of before with w2000 and this was not happened.
I'm using a PPPoE connection.

Follow bobw's suggestion -- for some reason, Mac OS X ships with the setting "Ask to remain connected every xx minutes" enabled by default.

Annoying, yes; easily solved, though.
