Hi I have a problem with my macbook pro..

Two months ago i used to use my mac without battery and only with the cable..(my fault)..
And once i opened it i unpluged the cable by mistake so it closed. And when i try to opened it again it made a lot of time to open because a bar was loading.. Maybe it oped is safe mode.. From then until now i hadn't any problem except from this with the opening. I try these days to fix it.. I boot from dvd install and from disk utility to repair it but it doesn't let me because i can't pus the verify button(freezed). i try to erase the HD but it tells me that is busy.. What can i do to fix my hd?

Time for a Unix hack to try to repair that hard drive. So follow these steps (in exact order):

1. Turn off the Mac.

2. Turn on the Mac while holding down the keys: command button+s. This will cause the mac to boot into Single-Uer Mode. This mode will have a black screen with white lettering scrolling by. Wait for the first command line prompts to come up.

2. When it gives you a line to type, type the command:
Code:
fsck -fy
. Let it run because it is trying to fix the disk. When it finishes make sure it says everything is good. If it says it found faults, run the command again & again until it says everything is good.

3. To boot back in OS x proper just type the command
Code:
reboot

Hopefully this will fox OS X. If it doesn't then you w]ill need something like (what I have, and it saved my bacon more than once) Disk Warrior orr replace that drive.

Here is to hoping the hint will work, Good Luck.
