Please help, I can't access my computer anymore.
Is it possible to reset this password? I read about a way to do it by changing the amount of RAM but on a Air it's intergrated on the logicboard so that won't work.
Someone knows if it's possible any other way?
or do I have to change the hole logic board just beacuse of a small password?

Replacing the logic board would be completely ridiculous, they are way overpriced, since you have a macbook air, it must be somewhat new 2008+? Bring it into your local apple retailer (mine is MacLife) And have them take it off, I don't know a whole lot about Macbook Air's, but without an external optical drive, you can't really boot from your install DVD..... And sadly, the Macbook air's have built in ram, which is either removable or upgradable, at least the last i knew..

That's what I think to. It feels stupid to change the hole logic board for a password.
I called my service place, they didn't have a clue exccept for changing the logic board.
But I can by a new one for that money.

Isn't there anyone who knows how to reset the Firmware password?
Or do I have to buy a hole new computer? Witch feels stupid when I have a fully funcitional macbook next to me exept that it asks for a password.
