I installed gwTeX to my Mac. Since it goes to /usr/local/gwTeX directory and the programs are at bin/i386-apple-darwin-current subdirectory, the PATH environment variable is sho long I thought to store it to my .zprofile file (I use zsh command shell). However, I managed to replace the file content with the PATH-value, instead of adding it to the end.
No problem, I thought: I have new backups. I started Time Machine, searched my home directory and then ... where is .zprofile?
It seems no files with "." as their first character is shown in the Time Machine dialog. So, how can I restore the file?
