Lately I've been messing around with changing a lot of the standard Mac OS X icons like the "Macintosh HD", "iPod", and "Downloads" icons. If, for some reason, I decide to revert back to the original icons, is there any way to do it?
if you've been changing them by using the simple method of replacing the icon in the information box, then yes there is an easy reversal.
Just click to select the icon in the information box, and hit "Delete".
The original icon will return.
That's what I've done. Thanks for the help.
I have one follow-up question (which I don't think would be worth making another thread). If I wanted to change every generic folder icon, how would I do that without going to every individual folder and changing its icon?
