Run 2 mice / 2 pointers at the same time on OS X?

I found a program for PC that claims to do this:

I found that Microsoft has already solved this problem:

You can run as many as you want. I run an external trackpad and a mouse now but I've had multiple mice connected as well as multiple keyboards.

They're just another USB (or Bluetooth) device to OSX.

But I want 2 points / cursors on the computer to run at the same time..

Doesn't look like that's going to happen on Mac OS X right now.

In addition, the Microsoft multipoint you linked to isn't exactly what you're describing -- it doesn't let any application have multiple, independent cursors sending input to a program... programs have to be specially written (via APIs) in order to take advantage of Microsoft multipoint. As of now, not many popular, 3rd-party applications do this.
