Safari dosent download files automaticly

On safari I have to Ctrl+Click and go download linked file and sometimes the file is not there so I end up downloading html [Its Annoying]
Does anybody have this error?
Is it normal?
Do you know how to solve it?

Try doing an option-click instead of a control-click. Option-click downloads the linked file immediately, so you don't have to go through any menus.
