Hi there people!
I recently changed from windows to mac, and my experience has been good so far, but i have had some problems, the biggest one being safari.
Safari (besides sucking up ram like there's no tomorrow) constantly freezes in some sites. It starts loading, and when it reaches the middle of the progress bar it just locks up for 10-15 seconds. I can't scroll, change tabs, nothing.
I'm running snow leopard, all updates installed, on a macbook pro 13'. Safari is just generally slow to change tabs, open tabs, etc, when compared with browsing in windows (i used the latest version of opera in windows) but the real problem is the constant locking up in certain sites.
To see what i'm talking about, i made a screencast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLlDMxNDbDE
I load up some sites and they work normally, and then i load one of the sites who have problems with my safari and it just freezes. The problem is safari only, the sites load fine on firefox, chrome, opera and camino (all for mac). I've cleared the cache, etc, done everything, and it still does this. I really wanted to use safari, any ideas?
