Safari keeps freezing after I operate on more than 1 tab

I'm sure this has been asked many times before but the solutions I've come across haven't helped.

I've turned off the 'fraudulent site detector' in settings as was suggested in one thread and that hasn't helped.

Please help!

Safari will not allow me to get a new window. It is frozen on a question I posted for goggle. Any ideas?

Try creating a new user account, log in under the new account, and see if you experience the same thing.

If not, then it may be something that's specific to your user account. If so, then it may be a more system-wide problem.

What kind of plugins for Safari do you have installed? ClickToFlash? Pith Helmet? Acid Search?

I had problems like that caused by Acid Search after updating Safari. I gave up on it because of that.
