Safari Keychain Password Conundrum

I've been scouring the Net for an answer to this little annoyance I've been having ever since I transferred my Keychain Prefs to a new machine. Forgive me if it's been adressed here before.

Whenever I log in or restart my machine Safari requests the password for my Keychain. Can someone tell me how to get Safari to automatically get the password from the Keychain? This never used to happen to me

Thanks fellow brainiacs....

You can try these in Keychain Access (in your Utility folder)
Make sure your keychain is unlocked
Run the Keychain First Aid (under the Window menu)
Copy down all your keychain items, and delete your keychain file, re-create your keychain setup as you work. (Keychain may still be partly tied to your old system??) But first try changing your administrator Login Password (in your Accounts/Password pref pane). That will reset the password for keychain also.

Thanks DM. I tried all of your methods save copying down everything. I was really trying to avoid that.

I re-made my account password, then ran the First Aid. Never even knew about that one.

Seemed to do the trick. No more dialogue boxes for me.

Thank You,
