Safari loading question

I've recently gone back to Safari with the latest version 4.0.2. I think it's great -- when it works. However with some frequency when I go to a website, it will just hang: the status bar will say something "Loading completed 4 of 5 items" -- and it will sit there. I can click on the X to make it stop loading and then immediately click back on the refresh arrow, and Boom! the sight fully loads in a split second. Why is this the case and what could be done about it?

mfogler---try> go to safari preferences in menu bar and reset safari--this may cure the problem---

That would be going to far, eh?
All you need is to click Reset Safari in the Safari menu. No need to choose Preferences.
