Safaricon replacement

Does anyone know of a replacement for this program which is no longer supported? It allows one to change the toolbar icons. I tried doing it manually by replacing the icons in the Safari Resource file but for some reason Safari still displays its original icons.

Why not try Firefox? It has lots of add-ons, including custom skins.

I also use Firefox. However I notice some sites do not work with Firefox but do work with Safari. Go figure.

Did you use Resorcerer to change the pics? If so, you could also try to right-click the Safari.app icon and select 'Show Package Contents' and replace the tifs in the Resources folder manually. Needless to say, make sure you back up everything first and keep the replacement tifs roughly the same size as the originals.

I did replace the icons in t˙e resource folder. Surprise! It made no difference.

Be on the cutting edge and get Webkit. It has a different icon and is the bleeding edge.
